From Carrie Mae Weems to Pepón Osorio, we will learn about artists of color who speak about family and the concept of home in their work. In this 45-minute art history lesson and open discussion led by curator Kiara Ventura, we will ultimately bring to question how the artists covered their personal narratives, homes, and family as a form of preservation and documentation.
