SUN: PROOF THAT ENDINGS CAN BE BEAUTIFUL TOO
KAMERON ROBINSON
SOLO EXHIBITION AND INSTALLATION
CURATED BY KIARA CRISTINA VENTURA
PRESENTED BY ARTSY WINDOW
SEPTEMBER 12 - SEPTEMBER 15 2021
RIDGEWOOD, QUEENS
Evoking the sublime, artist Kameron Robinson’s first solo exhibition and installation creates a space for meditation. Inspired by the feelings one’s gets from watching and experiencing a sunrise or sunset, the exhibition attempts to bring visitors into the present moment. Robinson challenges the mundane concepts of time, place, and space with abstractions of color and sound. Utilizing the mediums of sound, dye, acrylic, ice, water, and canvas, Robinson presents a fresh interpretation of “a happening” with his installation activation only occurring during sunrise and sunset.
